Do you take reservations?
We do not take reservations. Most of our dining options are quick-service or bar-style. While our sushi bar is full service, we operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. We do have ample counter space available to enjoy your meal.
Do you have seats?
The majority of our dining space is composed of stand-up counters. We do have a minimal amount of stools throughout our space, all available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our sushi bar has 20 dedicated stools.
Do you deliver?
We offer delivery of select products, including fresh seafood from our fish market, cooked lobsters and catering platters, through mercato.com
How can I place an order for pick-up?
If you would like a fresh seafood set aside from our fish market or a catering platter, please email us at info@lobsterplace.com. All of our other dining options do not accept advanced orders.
What are your hours?
We’re open from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Saturday and 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sundays. The C&P Galley opens at 11:00 AM Monday through Friday and 10:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. The Sushi and Temaki Bars open at 11:00 AM daily.
What holidays are you closed?
We’re closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. We’re open all other days.
Do you have a price list for the fish market?
Because product availability is highly dynamic, we do not have a price list. Please e-mail us at info@lobsterplace.com to check on the availability and pricing of particular products. If we don’t have what you’re looking for today, chances are we can get it for you at a later date with advanced notice.
Do you ship seafood?
We do not ship seafood. All of our seafood products from our fish market are available for pick-up or local delivery via mercato.com only.
Where are you located?
We’re located inside Chelsea Market, at 75 9th avenue. Guests may access Chelsea Market on either 9th or 10th avenue between 15th and 16th street. Lobster Place Seafood Market is by the fountain, midway from each entrance.
What’s the closest subway?
Take the A,C,E or L to 14th St/8th Avenue or the 1,2, or 3 to 14th St/ 7th Avenue.
